Depends on how fast your drives are but I'm running 4x8TB Red's with 10Gb fiber and i saw 70-80% CPU load on a file copy with a 4core non-HT Skylake Xeon (3.6ghz), I upgraded to HT'd 3.8ghz quad and the load is much better maybe 30-40% max. Copying anything over gigabit is like 1-2% CPU load.
