WebI've read reviews that the x65 sounds much much better than the 55s, the x65 sounds exactly like the k812s and focal clear with more on the fun side. Now this is what was reported on headfi forum. I'm still skeptical, I already have the money burning on my pocket to buy these. The 65 seems to be great. WebMain differences to me. Sundara have a larger soundstage, deeper bass extension, but less bass emphasis. Bass also seems a little more resolving. HD650 can sound a little dark if you're used to brighter headphones. WebWhen you compare out of box to the Sundara though, the Sundara win, no competition. They have a much more natural and neutral sound with some bass roll off. The Sundara, for as cheap as they are comparatively, are a much better headphone. They don’t need EQ as much and are much more affordable. Add in EQ though, and the HE-6SE win hands down.
